American Traveler is seeking a Travel Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. Start ASAP with 40 hours per week on days, 8-hour shifts, no weekends or on-call.

Requires 1 year RN experience, active SC or compact license, and AHA ACLS/BLS certifications. Travel and licensure reimbursements and benefits provided.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least 1 year of experience, AHA ACLS/BLS certifications, and an active SC or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Cath Lab environment with 2 lab rooms
• Handles adult cardiac cases including implant closure devices, diagnostic caths, right heart cath, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, baseline measurements, cardioversion, conduction studies, pacemaker insertion, and AICD insertion/programming
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or on-call required
• Potential to float to similar units as needed
• Uses Epic EMR
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Previous perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation from the system before being eligible as a traveler
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate
• All requested time off must be declared at application; extended requests or holiday RTO require facility approval
• Mandatory completion of online modules prior to start, averaging 4 hours
• Employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
• Professional attire or hospital-approved scrubs required
