Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring EP/Cath experience, a SC or compact license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Cath Lab setting within an acute care facility
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Work schedule consists of 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
• On-call required, including one weekend (Friday-Sunday) per month and one weekday each week, subject to change per staffing needs
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities is required
• Uses Epic EMR system
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Previous perm staff or PRN must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered, subject to facility approval and local pay rules
• Hospital-issued scrubs required for this unit
• No-cost parking available with pass provided at badge pickup
• All required modules to be completed pre-start
• Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Requested time off must be included at submission; approval subject to facility needs

Requirements
