Job summary

VyTalent Solutions seeks a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. The role requires BLS/ACLS and ARRT certifications with 1 year minimum cath lab experience, covering diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural cases.

The position is hospital-based, with a 13-week contract and a 36-hour workweek. Schedule includes 12-hour days and potential on-call or weekend duties; travel staffing benefits apply.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ARRT(BD) and ARRT(R) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of cath lab diagnostic/interventional experience; competent in all cath lab aspects including structural.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab for adult cardiology and structural cardiology patients.
• Stay flexible to accommodate the busy lab schedule, including staying until all cases are completed and taking call.
• Participate in weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities, including weekday nights and weekends on a rotating basis.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Siemens Artiz Z & Q, Impella, IABP, Philips Volcano IVUS, and shock wave devices for various procedures.
• Assist with complex procedures like LHC, RHC, PCI, CTO, TAVR, and Watchman.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of Cerner-EHR and imaging equipment required for procedures.
• Comply with hospital policies and safety protocols during all procedures.
