American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/IR Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in the Cath Lab unit. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call duties 12 days per month, including weekends and holidays.

Candidate must have at least 1 year of Cath Lab/IR experience, hold an active license if applicable, and current BLS certification. You will scrub, circulate, and monitor procedures and ensure sterile field prep and device readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab/IR experience.
• Active license required if applicable.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within first 30 days of assignment).
• Must be able to scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures.
• Experience preparing and maintaining sterile fields.
• Proficiency operating imaging equipment and ancillary devices.
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months.

Responsabilités

• 13-week travel assignment in the Cath Lab unit.
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• On-call required 12 days per month, including weekends and holidays.
• Cath Lab procedures include left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, IABP, and Impella placement.
• IR procedures include GI bleed embolizations, PE thrombectomies, kyphoplasties, drain and port placements.
• Assist physicians with device preparation, placement, and troubleshooting.
• Respond to emergent cases while on call.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced cardiovascular and interventional radiology program.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
