American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Level 1 trauma cardiac cath lab with 8 labs and 1 procedure room. The role includes scrubbing for complex coronary, neuro, and peripheral interventions, with potential EP/structural cases based on experience.

You will work 4x10 or 5x8 shifts, with rotating weekends and on-call requirements. Must have 2+ years cath lab experience and BLS; license and RCIS/RCES are a plus.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years recent cath lab tech experience required.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• License required if applicable.
• RCIS/RCES certification preferred but not required.
• Proficient with coronary stent interventions.
• EP experience preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles including positioning, image processing, quality control, and radiation protection preferred.
• Proficient with sterile technique.

Mansioni

• Acute care setting within a Level 1 trauma cardiac catheterization lab with 8 cath lab rooms and 1 procedure room.
• Performs scrub tech duties for cardiac angiograms/interventions, neuro angiograms/interventions, vascular endograft/peripheral vascular angiograms/interventions, and pacemaker implant/device cases.
• Possibility of EP and structural heart case involvement based on candidate experience.
• Procedures include left/right heart caths and PCI (rotablader, shockwave), pericardiocentesis, intra-aortic balloon pump/Impella insertion/removal, peripheral vascular procedures, EP device insertion/removal (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders), and PFO/ASD closure.
• EP ablation experience preferred.
• Uses EPIC, CUPID, and GE MAC Lab/Cardio Lab systems.
• 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts Monday through Friday.
• Call rotation every 3rd to 4th weekend plus 1 night of call per week as part of a 4-person call team.
• No floating to other units/departments required.
• Orientation tailored to candidate experience level, typically 1-2 days with an assigned mentor.
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.
• Ceil blue scrubs provided.
• Candidates must disclose any prior employment with Sanford Health for review.
• Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate.
