Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a day-shift position with 2+ years of Cath Lab, IR, or Hybrid OR experience. The role requires ARRT (R) and BLS, Epic charting experience, and vaccination proof. Local candidates are welcome at the same pay rate; RTO limited to two weeks.

The position involves 4x10 hour days (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with weekend shifts, working in Cardiac Cath Lab/IR settings, and potential cross-facility floats in a hospital network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab, IR, or Hybrid OR
• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• License required if applicable
• Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted
• Must provide two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months (charge RN references not accepted)
• Must provide seven years of verifiable work history including city, state, dates of employment, and PTO

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab department within an Interventional Radiology setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required
• Uses Epic charting system
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit policy
• Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias, and serving as room circulator
• Experience with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) and fluoroscopy equipment
• Works with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate
• No radius restriction for local candidates
• RTO must be submitted upfront and limited to no more than 2 weeks
• Former OHSU employees or travelers must have a 6+ month gap before returning
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
