Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a travel assignment in Columbus, GA. 2+ years of diagnostic and interventional cath lab experience required; CCI RCIS certification required; ARRTR certification preferred.

Work details include 40 hours/week, 12 weeks, days shift with possible weekend rotation; familiar with Epic, SBAR workflows, and 3D imaging. Housing stipend and comprehensive benefits provided by American Traveler.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience.
• Travel experience required.
• CCI RCIS certification required.
• ARRT-R certification preferred.
• State licensure required if applicable.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Proficiency in PCI, PTCA, stent placement, IABP and Impella insertion, and permanent pacemaker insertion.

Responsibilities

• Equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site preparation, and maintaining a sterile field.
• Scrub or circulate; assist with vascular studies and interventions including angioplasty and endovascular repairs.
• May float within facility and scope of practice as needed.
• Exposure to Hybrid OR and interventional cath lab settings.
