Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Kingsport, Tennessee. The role focuses on diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a high-volume lab with EP experience preferred.

The candidate must have 1 year of cath lab experience, ARRT (R), CCI RCIS, ACLS/BLS, and an active license. Expect 4x10-hour days, 40 hours weekly, with call and weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience.
• Ability to scrub EP devices and complex interventional cases.
• Experience with left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, IABP, rotablator atherectomy, and cardiac stent/closure devices.
• Able to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Proficient in scrub and circulator roles and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab.
• Scrub EP devices including pacemakers and ICDs.
• Assist with complex interventional cases including EP procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and infection control throughout procedures.
• Operate Siemens Sensis/Epic and Philips systems.
• Adhere to 4x10 hour day shifts with call 1-2 nights and 2 weekends per 6 weeks.
