Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with Cath Lab, IR, and EP experience. WA state Rad Tech licensure is required where applicable. The role involves supporting interventional labs, using Epic EMR and MERGE systems, and maintaining equipment and protocols.

The position offers 4x10 hour AM shifts (0630-1700), 40 hours per week with call requirements. Eligible candidates should have BLS/ACLS and ARRT/RCIS/CI/HRE/RCES certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Prior Cath Lab, IR and EP experience required.
• WA state Rad Tech license required if applicable.
• Graduate of an approved program of radiological or cardiovascular technology.
• Current ARRT/RCIS/CI/HRE/RCES certification options accepted.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interventional labs unit performing Cath, IR, and EP procedures.
• 4x10 hour AM shifts, 0630-1700, 40 hours per week.
• Operate fluoroscopy, Epic EMR, MERGE system and contrast injector.
• Call is required.
• Assist with patient orientation and positioning for diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain lab and equipment, verify exams in Epic and PACS.
• Prepare and scrub Cath, IR, and EP procedures with sterile technique.
• Record hemodynamic readings and maintain standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Labs unit performing Cath, IR, and EP procedures
• 4x10 hour AM shifts, 0630-1700, 40 hours per week
• Uses fluoroscopy equipment, Epic EMR, MERGE hemodynamic system, and contrast injector
• Call required
• Assess patient condition and orient patients to lab environment, equipment, and procedures
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease process for proper positioning to obtain diagnostic imaging
• Maintain fluoroscopy equipment, contrast injector, and other lab equipment in proper working condition
• Perform clerical duties including verification and documentation of exams using Epic and PACS
• Set up equipment, prep and scrub procedures using sterile technique across Cath, IR, and EP labs
• Record hemodynamic readings per procedure standards
• Maintain facility standards, protocols, and procedures while keeping clinical skills current
