Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist in St. Helena, CA to assist physicians with cardiovascular procedures. EPIC experience and ARRT-R certification are required; the role supports invasive and non-invasive diagnostics in the cardiac cath lab.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification is required.
• RT license valid in CA/HI where applicable.
• Current Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• One year of cardiac catheterization experience preferred.
• EPIC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists cardiologists and radiologists during procedures, including administration of contrast media.
• Monitors and records patient vital signs during procedures.
• Applies radiation safety standards and patient protection.
• Maintains sterile and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of cath lab equipment.

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with EPIC experience and ARRT-R certification to assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Details

• Works in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit
• Variable shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• EPIC experience required
• Assists in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders
• Operates x-ray and physiological monitoring equipment, including C-Arm and angiographic injectors

Requirements

• ARRT-R certification required
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in state of practice, including CA and HI, if applicable
• Current Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire
• BLS certification required
• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• One year of cardiac catheterization experience preferred
• EPIC experience required

Additional Information

• Assists cardiologists and radiologists during special procedures, including administration of contrast media via catheter or direct injection
• Monitors, records, and evaluates patient vital signs throughout procedures
• Applies radiation safety standards, including collimation and patient protection
• Maintains strict sterile and aseptic techniques during procedures
• Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of cath lab equipment
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction; local pay rates are the same as travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will not be considered

Pay

$3,160/wk

Assignment Total (13 Weeks): $41,080

Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks): $164,320

Weekly Wages: $1,480/wk

Regular Hours: $37.00 x 40 hours/wk = $1,480

Weekly Stipends: $1,680/wk

Lodging: $172.00 x 7 days = $1,204

Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days = $476

In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $2,886 - $3,160. The $3,160 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
