Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least one year of recent Cath Lab experience and the ability to scrub and circulate.

The role involves caring for middle adult to geriatric patients on 4x10 hour shifts (8:00 AM–6:30 PM) and requires current ARRT/RCIS certification, ACLS/BLS, and Epic EMR experience while using a Florida license and completing AHCA background checks. Vaccination status is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab experience required.
• Must be able to scrub and circulate.
• ARRT or RCIS certification.
• ACLS and BLS certification via AHA required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Skills include diagnostic/interventional cath, rotablator, IABP, closure devices, and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Florida license required if applicable.
• Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening and fingerprint checks required.
• Proof of vaccination status required.

Responsibilities

• Cath Lab unit caring for middle adult to geriatric patients.
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Requires working 2 of 3 major holidays, including the holiday and the eve.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Smoke-free facility.

• Skills required include diagnostic right and left heart cath, interventional cath, rotablator, IABP, closure devices, interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, and sterile procedure/equipment set-up
• License required if applicable
• Must complete a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses
• Proof of vaccination status required with no declinations accepted
