Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience and MRT license plus RT or RCIS certification for a travel assignment.

The role requires ACLS and CPR-AHA, and Epic EMR familiarity to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The position is a Monday–Friday day shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with 10–11 monthly call shifts and on-call coverage for a 24/7 cath lab.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience.
• MRT license and RT or RCIS certification.
• ACLS and CPR-AHA certification.
• Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab: diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monday–Friday day shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• 10–11 call shifts per month with rotating weekends.
• Provides on-call coverage for a 24/7 cath lab.
• Operates imaging equipment during procedures.
• Performs scrub tech duties for cardiologists and vascular surgeons.
• Hemodynamic monitoring and case documentation.
• Must be separated from the health system for 6 months if previously employed.
• Vaccinations: COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine.
• Radius rule of 50 miles; local candidates may be considered case-by-case.

• License required if applicable
• Current ACLS and CPR-AHA certification required

• Specific cath lab experience required

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting providing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monday-Friday day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 10-11 call shifts per month required including rotating weekends
• Provides shared on-call coverage for a 24/7 cath lab
• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment during procedures
• Epic EMR experience required
• Performs scrub tech duties to assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons
• Performs hemodynamic monitoring and documents procedures during cases
• Must be separated from the health system for 6 months if previously employed in any capacity (travel, perm, or per diem)
• Required vaccinations include COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, with medical exemptions allowed
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates generally not permitted but may be considered case-by-case for hard-to-fill roles
• Pass/Fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing may be required depending on campus
