Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Traveling Cath Lab/EP Technologist to cover a combined Cath Lab and EP Lab in Little Rock, AR. The role requires RCIS or ARRT with Arkansas license, 2+ years in Cath Lab/EP, and BLS/ACLS certification.

You will scrub and monitor device implants and EP procedures across multiple labs, with four 10-hour day shifts and on-call responsibilities. Hospital staffing includes 7 labs (3 Cath, 3 EP, 1 procedure room); Cerner and Epic EMR systems are used, with a Merge

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab/EP Lab experience.
BLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required.
RCIS certification via CCI or ARRT with Arkansas limited X-ray license required.
Active State or Compact RN license for state of submission.
Competent to scrub and monitor device implants, EP ablations, and LAAO cases.
Strong understanding of EP lab procedures, pacing and ablation techniques.
Two professional references from the last 12 months and last 3 years.
Copy of driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Scrub and monitor EP lab cases including device implants, EP ablations, and LAAO procedures.
May float within the Cath Lab only; no floating to IR or outside the hospital.
Unit manager is present on each shift but does not take patient assignments.
Hospital-provided unit-specific orientation on four shifts.
