American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Georgia. Requires 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and a community hospital background.

The role uses GE Innova IGS and Siemens equipment, with EP procedures experience preferred. Schedule rotates 4x10-hour days (7:00 AM-5:30 PM) and 1 week of 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM-4:30 PM) every 6 weeks; call 12–14 days per 6 weeks; travel-friendly location within 30 minutes of the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience.
• Community hospital background required.
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred.
• Required ACLS and BLS certification.
• Certifications such as ARRT-R, RCES, RCIS, or CVT preferred.
• GA or Compact RN license may be required.
• Experience with angioplasty, stent placement and vascular studies.
• EP procedures experience including AICD/pacemaker insertion preferred.
• Left/right heart cath, PCI and PTCA experience preferred.
• Hemodynamic monitoring and Impella experience preferred.
• Copies of required certifications must be provided.
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting.
• Performs cardiac catheterization, EP studies, and vascular procedures.
• Uses GE Innova IGS and Siemens equipment.
• Epic charting system preferred.
• Schedule rotates between 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM-5:30 PM) and 1 week of 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM-4:30 PM) every 6 weeks.
• Call requirement of 12-14 days per 6-week period including 1-2 weekends.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the facility for call coverage.
• May float within facility and scope of practice as needed.
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• Piedmont facility separation requirements for travelers; reapplication rules apply.
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract; no post-offer changes.
