Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab for a 13-week travel assignment in Saint Helena, CA. The role involves supporting invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary tests, with day-shift duties on a 5x8 schedule.

Required are an Associate’s Degree or equivalent, CA radiology licensure, ARRT-R, California fluoroscopy license within 6 months, and BLS/CPR. EPIC experience plus two years in the field are preferred.

• BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor.
• At least two years of recent field experience; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic tests; operate x-ray and document results in the patient record.
• Operate C-arm and angiographic injectors and adjust technical factors; uphold radiation safety principles and immobilization techniques.
• Scrub and monitor during structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, and emergent cath procedures; provide procedural assistance as directed.
• Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures; maintain sterile technique and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment; document test results in the EPIC/EHR.

Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab in Saint Helena, California. This travel assignment starts November 9, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,737 to $2,854 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The position follows a day shift on a 5x8 schedule within a short-term acute care hospital setting, supporting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems and related imaging and therapeutic procedures. This assignment is managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialty procedure equipment (C-arm, angiographic injectors) and adjust technical factors as needed; uphold radiation safety principles and immobilization techniques
• Scrub and monitor during structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, and emergent cath procedures; support during complex or specialized cases; provide procedural assistance as directed
• Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures; maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment; assist with administration of opaque media via catheter or direct injection; document test results in the electronic health record (EPIC experience preferred)

Requirements

• Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent; preferred one year catheterization experience
• Licenses/Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography) certification; Radiologic Technologist license in California; California fluoroscopy license required within 6 months of hire; BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor
• Experience: At least two years of recent field experience; experience scrubbing and monitoring structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, emergent cath cases; EPIC experience preferred
• Additional: Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting and, if applicable, on-call as required by assignment
