Qualifications

Education and experience: Associate’s Degree or equivalent; two years' recent field experience; one year of catheterization experience preferred.
ARRT-R certification and CA/HI RT licenses are required; fluoroscopy license in CA within 6 months; BLS/CPR certification required.
EPIC EMR experience is required for documentation and orders.

Responsibilities

Aid physicians with invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary procedures; operate imaging equipment; adjust factors as needed.
Monitor vital signs during procedures; ensure radiation safety through collimation, shielding and proper immobilization.
Maintain sterile technique and infection control; perform routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance; troubleshoot issues.
Record and review test results; maintain accurate documentation per protocol.
Assist during administration of contrast media; collaborate with cardiologist and radiologist.

Cath Lab Technologist travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. In this Cardiovascular Technologist role with a Cath Lab focus, you’ll support invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary testing, with start on 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,709 to $2,798 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 5x8 days, in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.

Monitor patient vital signs during procedures; ensure radiation safety through collimation, shielding and proper immobilization.
Maintain sterile technique and infection control; perform routine equipment checks and preventive maintenance; troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
Record and review test results; maintain accurate documentation and patient records per protocol.
Assist during administration of contrast media and during specialized procedures, collaborating with the cardiologist and radiologist.

Requirements

Education and experience: Associate’s Degree or equivalent; two years' recent field experience; one year of catheterization experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: ARRT-R certification required; RT license in CA and HI required.
Additional licenses: Current fluoroscopy license (CA) within 6 months of hire; BLS/CPR certification required.
