Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a 3–4 month travel-based study. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform in-home echocardiograms and vascular imaging using portable ultrasound equipment, delivering preliminary reports. This full-time W2 contract covers travel expenses and includes a monthly stipend, with roughly 25 visits per month and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Requires active cardiac and vascular imaging registration (e.g., RDCS/RCS plus RVT/RVS).
• Full-time or near full-time availability.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes regionally to perform imaging visits (approx. 25 per month).
• Operate and troubleshoot portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Prepare preliminary reports with measurements and comments.
• Maintain ASE-standard image quality and labeling for cardiology review.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Manage documentation and adherence to study guidelines.
