American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Telemetry RN for a night shift hospital assignment in Georgia. The role requires GA or compact RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and charge nurse experience on a 16-bed telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio.

The assignment features 3x12 hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with six weekend shifts in a 6-week cycle, and no on-call. Epic EMR and related systems are in use, with navy blue scrubs required.

Qualifications

• Active GA or Compact RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience.
• Previous charge nurse experience required.
• 1:5 patient ratio experience required.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry required.
• IV therapy, line care and phlebotomy experience.
• Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration).
• Respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen, and tracheostomy care.

Responsabilités

• Cares for adults to geriatrics on the Cardiac Telemetry unit.
• 16-bed unit with 1:5 patient ratio and night shifts.
• Night shifts: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM; 3x12-hour shifts.
• Six weekend shifts per 6-week period.
• Floating within facility as needed; no on-call.
• Epic EMR, Pyxis, and SBAR charting systems used.
• Care for patients with post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias and chest pain.
• Provide renal care including IV access and hemodialysis prep/post care.
