American Traveler is actively seeking a Telemetry RN for a 12-hour shift travel assignment in Augusta, GA. The position covers adult to geriatric telemetry, with a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 16-room unit. Start ASAP for a 12-week engagement, with a 36-hour workweek and days shift.

Required GA or compact RN license, 2+ years of RN experience, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications, and Epic EMR proficiency. Travel-friendly benefits include reimbursements and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Must provide two supervisory references, with at least one being a manager or above.
• Away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year if previously employed.

Responsibilities

• Work in an adult to geriatric Telemetry unit.
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and vascular issues.
• Patient ratio is 1:4-5 in a 16-room unit.
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours) from 7:00 to 19:00 with every other weekend required.
• Use of Epic (EMR required), Pyxis, and SBAR.
• Floating may be required.
• No call requirements.
