Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) in Bangor, ME for a 21-week assignment. You will perform echocardiography studies, provide patient education, and collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnoses.

Ideal candidates have an accredited ultrasound program, 1 year Echo experience, and active BLS. Licensure must comply with state regulations; ARDMS/CCI are preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this travel role.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Echo Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography studies with Doppler and 3-D imaging.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment and advanced imaging techniques.
• Review orders and patient history to ensure appropriate exams.
• Educate patients on echocardiography procedures and address questions.
