Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Echo) for a 12-week travel assignment in Overland Park, KS. You will perform echocardiography, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety while collaborating with physicians and teams.

The role requires completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, 1 year of Echo CV experience, BLS, and a valid ultrasound license. Travel benefits and comprehensive coverage are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• One year of recent experience as an Echo Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac echocardiography, including Doppler and 3-D imaging.
• Operate echocardiography equipment and apply advanced imaging techniques for cardiac assessments.
• Review patient history and verify orders to ensure appropriate examinations.
• Educate patients and families about echocardiography procedures and address questions.
• Identify and document imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced settings, maintaining professionalism.
• Follow supervisor directions and facility policies.
