Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of hospital-based cardiac experience and RDCS or RCS certification to join our dedicated team in a fast-paced, reputable organization.

You will perform a broad spectrum of echocardiography studies, including stress and transesophageal exams, across multiple locations. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend rotation; we offer competitive pay and traveler-focused benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program is required.
• B.S. in Diagnostic Ultrasound is preferred.
• RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI is required.
• RVT certification is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based cardiac experience is required.
• License is required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of cardiac ultrasound studies and may perform vascular studies in clinical and research settings at various locations.
• Conducts inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms, stress echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiography.
• Examinations include Transthoracic, Exercise, and Pharmacologic Stress Echocardiograms.
• Performs procedures including echo-guided myocardial biopsies and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy studies per protocols and trials.
• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekend rotation.
• Studies are used by physicians to diagnose heart disease and conduct heart studies.
• Comparable facility size experience may be required depending on assignment location.
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate.
