Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role involves performing diagnostic echocardiographic examinations and collaborating with cardiologists across outpatient, inpatient, and off-campus sites.

The candidate should have RDCS or RCS certification, 1 year of Cardiac Sonographer experience, and an accredited echocardiography degree. BLS certification and EMR proficiency are required, with occasional site coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered as RDCS or RCS.
• At least 1 year of Cardiac Sonographer experience.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited echocardiography program.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Knowledge of ECG rhythms and aseptic technique.
• Experience with EMRs.
• Experience with IV insertion for ultrasound contrast and bubble studies.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic echocardiographic examinations.
• Collaborate with cardiologists in assessment and treatment of cardiac conditions.
• Support outpatient, inpatient, and off-campus services within the echocardiography lab.
• Perform M-mode, 2D, 3D, spectral Doppler, color Doppler, tissue Doppler imaging, bubble studies.
• Assist cardiologist with 2D/3D transesophageal echocardiograms.
