Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Saint Paul, Minnesota is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer to join a 13-week assignment, working 40 hours per week, days shift. The Echo Tech will perform echocardiograms, educate patients, and prepare studies for physician interpretation.

Candidates must have 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification, and any required state licensing. The role offers benefits including weekly pay, guaranteed hours, CE, 401k, and more through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Echo/Cardiac Sonographer experience.
• BLS, ARDMS (RDMS AE) or CCI (RCIS) certification and state licensure when required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Perform echocardiographic studies with quality Doppler/Color Doppler.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as required.
• Report findings to reading physician for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment and sanitation per department procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS.
