Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) to perform echocardiography for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. The role requires completion of an accredited ultrasound program, an active ultrasound license, and BLS certification, with opportunities for ARDMS/CCI credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac echocardiography with Doppler and 3-D imaging.
• Operate echocardiography equipment and advanced imaging techniques.
• Review patient history and verify orders for examinations.
• Educate patients and families about echocardiography procedures.
• Identify, document, and correct imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records per policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced and potentially stressful settings.
• Follow supervisor directions and facility policies; perform other duties within scope.
