Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. The role focuses on cardiac-vascular echocardiography in a hospital-based imaging setting with holiday coverage requirements.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in cardiac/vascular ultrasound and credentialing (RDCS/ARDMS or equivalent) with BLS certification. Travel eligibility and no local candidates within 50 miles are noted.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of professional cardiac/vascular ultrasound experience.
Credentialing in echocardiography required (RDCS/ARDMS or equivalent).
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive echocardiography studies for cardiac and vascular indications.
Acquire high-quality 2D, Doppler, and advanced echo data and prepare findings for interpretation.
Position patients, explain procedures, ensure safety and infection control.
Document study results, organize images, and communicate with cardiologist or radiologist.
Maintain equipment calibration and adhere to safety guidelines.
Support holiday coverage and adapt to schedule variations.
