Job summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities - Westways in Templeton, CA seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) for a 13-week travel assignment. Schedule is 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Thursday and Friday with rotating weekends, totaling 36 hours weekly.

Requirements include RDCS certification (or CCI/ARDMS), BLS, and at least two years of echocardiography experience; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred).
• RDCS certification from ARDMS or CCI is required.
• BLS certification required; echocardiography certification preferred.
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Set up ultrasound equipment and attach electrodes to the patient.
• Prepare patients, verify wave signals and record images.
• Interview patients and review medical records to adapt sonographic techniques.
• Perform echocardiography on treadmill patients to assess heart functions.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and inventories and manage patient records.
• Stay updated on job knowledge through education and networking.
