American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Night Med/Surg Cardiac position in Peoria, IL with Epic EMR experience and Level 1 trauma requirements. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am.

Active Illinois RN license (or temp), BLS certification, and 1 year of relevant RN experience are required. Travel and licensure reimbursements, per diem options, and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Responsabilidades

• Care for cardiac patients on a Cardiac Medical-Surgical unit.
• Perform nursing care using the nursing process for varied patient acuity.
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 7:00pm–7:30am, three shifts per week.
• Coordinate and deliver cardiac patient care with accurate documentation.
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be accepted.
• Ensure up-to-date nursing documentation and compliance with facility policies.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Night Med/Surg Cardiac position in Illinois, requiring Level 1 trauma and Epic charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is on a Cardiac Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Care for cardiac patients with varied acuity levels
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00pm to 7:30am, three shifts per week
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• EMR used is Epic, and prior experience with this system is required
• No local candidates within a 50 mile radius will be accepted
• Responsible for coordinating and delivering cardiac patient care using the nursing process
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care
• May not be on assignment at this facility for more than one year continuously; a six-month break is required before returning
• Up to 7 days of requested time off is allowed per 13-week contract
• No travel partners are permitted for this assignment

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license or temporary license in good standing is required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required
