Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Seattle, WA. This 13-week assignment requires 48 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift with travel benefits and tax-free stipends may apply.

The PCU nurse will monitor cardiac patients, administer meds, and stabilize patients while coordinating care with the ICU and medical teams. ACLS/BLS required; NIH certification preferred; 1–2 years of acute care experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH certification desirable.
• RN with Cardiac PCU/step-down exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for PCU patients and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor cardiac monitors and vital signs; document findings.
• Administer medications and start IVs; respond to adverse events.
• Assist with procedures and patient repositioning; ensure safety.
