Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Bel Air, MD. The role involves assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular conditions and providing scrub support for interventional procedures.

The ideal candidate has CCI/AART certification, state licensure as required, ACLS/PALS as per contract, and at least one year of Cath Lab experience. Competitive pay and benefits are offered by Amergis.

Qualifications

• CCI or AART certification/registration required.
• State Licensure may be required per state/contract.
• At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
• ACLS/PALS per contract requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab.
• Provide scrub assistance to cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures (PTCA, stent placement, IABP, EP devices, ablations).
• Serve as a technical resource for interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
