Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 40-hour work week in Peoria, Illinois. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 4x10 hour day shifts and on-call responsibilities. Start date is October 2026, with Level 1 trauma acute care hospital exposure and 2+ years cath lab experience.

Candidates must have ARRT and BLS certification, an IEMA certification, and an active state license if applicable. PACS systems and McKesson cardiology PACS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience is required.
• ARRT and BLS certification required.
• IEMA certification required.
• Active state license required if applicable.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• McKesson cardiology PACS experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating.
• Unit-specific orientation typically lasts 3 to 5 days.
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital.
• On-call rotations with ~8–9 shifts per month and 30-minute call response time.
