Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Lynchburg, VA. The technologist will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment while maintaining patient safety and high-quality care.

Requirements include 1 year of Cath Lab experience and BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adhere to radiation safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents and operating imaging/monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper functionality of contrast injectors and monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup per infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs accurately.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies.
