Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Reston, Virginia. The travelled RN will operate in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment, assisting physicians during catheterization, angioplasty and electrophysiology, while monitoring EKG equipment and patient status.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and can stand long shifts in a high-demand setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Cath Lab procedures and patient monitoring.
• Assist physicians during catheterization, angioplasty, and related procedures.
• Monitor and interpret EKGs and vital signs during cases.
• Assist with pacemaker/ICD implant procedures as needed.
