Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Olympia Fields, IL. This assignment is 13 weeks long, with 40 hours per week on dayshift in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

You will join a skilled cardiovascular team and perform essential assisting tasks, including monitoring equipment and assisting during angioplasty, catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. ACLS and BLS certifications are required, along with 1–2 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose heart conditions or as a treatment.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
