Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel assignment in Rockford, Illinois. The position requires an active RN license, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of Cath Lab experience.

Assignment lasts 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, dayshift, travel employment. The RN will perform angioplasties, pacemaker implants, and related invasive procedures, while providing patient care and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting

Responsibilities

• The Cardiac Cath Lab RN performs angioplasties, implants pacemakers and diagnoses cardiac conditions with an invasive catheterization procedure.
• Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
• Identify blockages, assisting the physician during procedures, and monitoring the patient’s status at other times.
