Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week contract in Indiana, PA. The assignment involves providing care in a 44-bed inpatient psychiatric facility for adolescent and geriatric populations, with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour rotating shifts.

The candidate must hold an active RN license in the practicing state, have inpatient adolescent psychiatric experience, and possess BLS certification. SAFE Training may be arranged onsite, and floating between units is required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in inpatient adolescent psychiatric care is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• De-escalation training/certification required; SAFE Training Course onsite can be arranged.
• Floating to both adolescent and geriatric behavioral health units is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical activities in assigned units, providing leadership and support to nursing staff.
• Oversee staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for patient care.
• Monitor budgets related to personnel and operations.
• Coordinate orientation and educational needs for nursing staff.
• Promote positive relationships with other disciplines to facilitate effective patient care.
• Represent the Nursing Department positively to external stakeholders.
