Inter Technologies Corporation (ITC) is seeking an AV Technician to install and service audio-visual systems on various job sites across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role supports the Operations team and reports to a Project Manager or Lead AV Technician.

Expect 50–75% travel with lifting requirements and a focus on safety, quality, and timely completion. A CTS certification or progression toward one, plus strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• CTS certification or the ability to achieve certification within six months of start date.
• Ability to travel on regular basis and often on short notice with long/unusual work hours
• Successfully complete criminal background check, motor vehicle review and drug test prior to start
• Strong communication skills and experience working on teams
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with standard office productivity software including Google, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience and comfort with hand tools, small power tools and industrial tools
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly
• Ability to make important decisions under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving and time management skills
• Friendly and approachable
• Valid driver's license with less than two citations in last two years and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and complete safety compliance training

Responsabilités

• Moving and/or repositioning large equipment or wiring supplies. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Trouble-shooting audio and video cabling
• Installing and terminating cables with solder or compression connector
• Drilling in drywall, concrete, and cinderblock for wiring, projectors, screens, cameras, and speakers
• Sanding, painting and other light construction tasks
• Cleaning up job sites and breaking down boxes
• Organizing and storing materials
• Installing electronic and electrical components into equipment racks per wiring diagrams
• Working in confined spaces
• Working on ladders and lifts at heights over 10 ft
• Providing some direction mentoring of other installers and technicians
• Performing other duties as assigned
