Job summary

Inter Technologies Corporation (ITC) is seeking an AV Technician to install electronic, hardware, and wiring components for AV systems at job sites nationwide, reporting to a Project Manager or Lead AV Technician. This is a travel-heavy role with extended travel across the country.

The technician will receive, inventory, assemble and install AV equipment, commissioning and testing on job sites with minimal supervision, including bending, drilling and basic construction tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior AV experience.
• CTS certification within six months of start date.
• CTS-I certification within six months following CTS certification.
• Willingness to travel regularly with long hours.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inventory, assemble and install AV equipment at job sites.
• Troubleshoot audio and video cabling and terminate cables.
• Install and terminate cables with appropriate connectors.
• Work on ladders and lifts, up to 10 ft heights.
• Perform construction tasks and basic electrical/installation work.
