Job summary

Inter Technologies Corporation (ITC) provides expert AV integration services across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are seeking an AV Service Technician to join our Operations team and support maintenance, repair, and on-site installations.

This travel-heavy role requires CTS certification (or progress toward it) within six months, strong customer service, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. You will work with the team to ensure high-quality service and project success.

Qualifications

• Prior AV experience (2-4 years).
• CTS certification or ability to achieve within six months of start date.
• Ability to travel regularly with long/unusual work hours.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Criminal background check, motor vehicle review and drug test prior to start.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Computer proficiency with Google, Word, Excel.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform maintenance/warranty service to repair and install AV systems on-site.
• Undertake programming of Crestron and Extron control systems with a field programmer.
• Communicate with sales and operations to align with goals and scope of work.
• Move and lift heavy equipment up to 75 lbs and work from ladders or lifts.
• Troubleshoot audio/video equipment, cabling, and systems.
• Install and terminate cables and connectors per diagrams or instructions.
• Drill into walls and install projectors, screens, cameras, and speakers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and company procedures are followed.
