Job summary

Inter Technologies Corporation is seeking an AV Service Technician to maintain, repair, and install audio-visual systems for our nationwide client base. The role requires travel across the country, with on-site service responsibilities at customer locations.

Typically involves troubleshooting Crestron/Extron systems, installing cables, and ensuring safety practices. A CTS certification or progress toward it is expected, along with strong communication skills and laptop proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years AV experience required.
• CTS certification or ability within six months.
• Willingness to travel regularly with long hours.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer literacy.
• Criminal background check, motor vehicle record and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance/warranty service on AV systems on-site at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hardware, software and wiring components.
• Coordinate with sales/operations to align project goals with customer expectations.
• Safely lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs) and work at heights using ladders or lifts.
• Install/terminate cables and install AV equipment per wiring diagrams.
