Job summary

Inter Technologies Corporation is seeking a Field AV Engineer to direct, install, program, commission and troubleshoot AV systems at client sites across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role reports to the Vice President of Customer Success and is part of the Operations team.

The position requires hands-on AV installation and programming, loading control code and DSP configurations, testing, and on-site travel locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in AV Technology, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Certifications: CTS, CTS-I Certification, Crestron, Extron, Dante, Biamp, QSC preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on AV installation, programming, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and program AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, etc.).
• Test, commission, and calibrate AV systems; verify signal flow and network integration.
• Provide on-site or remote support and document configurations and punch lists.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
