Job summary

The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates is seeking a full-time Staff Auditor for the Credit Union Audit Group. You will travel to credit unions in Virginia to perform cash counts, interim and annual reports, and compliance audits.

You will work independently or with a team, maintain records in NetSuite, and support credit union personnel, committees and boards while promoting LEVERAGE products and services. A valid driver's license and Virginia residency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or on track to obtain within three months of hire.
• Six to twelve months of general accounting experience and knowledge of auditing principles.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations for state/federal credit unions; ability to detect violations.
• Credit Union experience is a plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• CUCE/BSACS designations preferred or obtained within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout Virginia to perform highly technical audits for multiple credit unions.
• Conduct cash counts, interim and annual reports, and compliance audits.
• Maintain work contacts, activities, and expense reports in NetSuite; support supervisory committees and boards.
