South Shore Stars in Weymouth, Randolph, and Quincy seeks a Travel Assistant Teacher to support preschool classrooms and cover vacations and leaves. The role requires reliable transportation and a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementing curriculum and classroom activities.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining classroom environment, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor children’s activities individually and in groups.
• Confer with other center staff regarding educational and social progress.
• Attend staff, team, and curriculum meetings, training and supervision as required.
• Help organize and attend Center parent meetings and other Center events.
• Refer concerns expressed by parents to appropriate teacher and share observations regarding parent-child interactions.
• Prepare breakfast and snacks.
• All other assigned duties.
