Job Description & Responsibilities

The Cath Lab Tech provides technical and patient support, communicates with physicians about patient conditions, assists during procedures, operates equipment safely, assesses room readiness, and participates in quality improvement activities.

Minimum Education & Certifications

• 2-year radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved school, ARRT registry eligibility
• Basic EKG course

Preferred qualifications include a BS in Radiology or equivalent, 1 year of Cardiac Cath or Radiology care experience, ARRT in CT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, state license if required, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
