Job summary

Manatal is seeking experienced Alarm Technicians for service and project work focusing on fire alarm, intrusion, and access control systems on large commercial sites. The role is full-time with daytime hours and regional travel of 2–4 weeks at a time in a company vehicle after orientation, with hotel and per diem provided.

Ideal candidates are dependable, self-driven professionals who can work independently, troubleshoot on-site, and complete jobs with accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Prior experience installing and servicing fire alarm, intrusion, and access control systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and ADA/fire/life safety compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain fire alarm, intrusion, and access control systems on large commercial sites.
• Program and test devices to ensure full system functionality and code compliance.
• Perform inspections, panel diagnostics, and wiring corrections.
• Work from blueprints and site layouts to install complete systems.
• Pull, terminate, and label low-voltage wiring.
• Install control panels, keypads, locks, readers, and sensors.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning with end users or inspectors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and installations.
• Travel in company vehicle; maintain tools, PPE, and safety standards.
