Job summary

The Automobile Club of Southern California seeks a Travel Consultant who can sell domestic and international travel packages, including cruises, air, cars, and hotels. The role emphasizes building strong member relationships and tailoring itineraries to individual interests.

You will leverage personal travel knowledge to upsell products, cross-sell memberships, and identify referrals while meeting production goals in a fast-paced environment. Training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required, but a 2- or 4-year college degree is preferred.
• Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check and urine drug screening.
• Two years of successful retail sales, banking, or leisure travel agency experience in a goal-driven environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, air, car, and hotel.
• Share knowledge from personal experiences to tailor trips to member expectations.
• Develop long-standing relationships with members to generate referrals and repeat business.
• Cross-sell travel products and services such as AAA Rewards and identity theft referrals.
• Meet sales goals and participate in training to improve skills and leadership potential.
