Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Advanced Care/EMU (Progressive Care) night shift position requiring Epic EMR experience and Level 1 Trauma background.

Details

• Position is located in an Advanced Care/EMU unit within a hospital setting
• Works with a critical care team for Advanced Care patients and with hospitalists as appropriate
• Monitors EMU patients around the clock for seizure activity
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 12-hour shifts
• Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience
• Level 1 Trauma facility experience required
• PCU, step-down, or intermediate care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing)
