Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a BSN-prepared RN for an inpatient rehab travel assignment in St. Joseph, MO. Requires MO or compact RN license, BLS, and night availability. 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities include inpatient rehab care, collaboration with PT and care management, and discharge planning from admission. Epic experience is preferred and first-time travelers with 2 years RN experience are welcome.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required; pending license accepted if in hand before start.
• BSN required; BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; first-time travelers require 2 years.
• Epic charting experience preferred; strong teamwork is essential.
• High pay and bonuses; travel RN incentives noted.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with physical therapy and care management teams.
• Discharge planning from admission with interdisciplinary teams.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30).
• Utilize Epic for charting; non-telemetry unit.
