Job summary

WNA Engineering is seeking a 3D Scan Survey Technician to travel for scan surveys and aerial mapping of buildings and properties. The role requires knowledge of building systems and the ability to coordinate with a team, manage time, and contribute to project delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in construction, understands HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing components, and holds a valid driver's license with willingness to learn drafting standards. Overnight travel up to 80% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of construction-related work experience and understanding of building construction.
• Experience with architectural components and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Travel and overnight availability up to 80% weekly.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Willingness to learn drafting, regulations and standards.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Travel to conduct scan surveys and aerial mapping on buildings and properties according to client and project needs.
• Communicate and coordinate projects with the team and Team Manager.
• Utilize effective time management to prioritize workload.
• Participate in all team and organizational meetings.
• Follow project submission protocol according to client and WNA standards and procedures.
• Support the department with CAD drafting and reporting.
• Research innovative solutions to develop team processes and procedures.
• Contribute to and support the overall development of the company.
