Job Summary And Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona. The role involves providing comprehensive and high-quality care to critically injured patients in a level 3/4 trauma hospital.
- Provide care to general surgery and trauma patients at level 3/4 trauma hospital. Volume expansion.
- 12‑hour shifts; night shifts under discussion with potential swing shift (Noon–Midnight) and overnight shifts as the service line grows.
- Clinic rotates one APP per week for 4 hours to cover postoperative appointments and assist with triage as needed.
- Respond to new general surgery consults when the surgeon is not on site and to trauma activations in the ED.
- Perform bedside procedures; surgeon takes resident into OR.
- No call; follow the listed shifts.
Job Requirements
PA Requirements
- Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA‑C)
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Valid AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants license and NCCPA certification
- Valid DEA registration
- Meets credentialing criteria for medical staff
- General Surgery and ED experience a plus
NP Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
- Compact state or Arizona RN license
- Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
- National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in specialty under AZ regulations (NP‑AACN, NP‑AANP, NP‑ANCC)
- Valid DEA registrationMeets credentialing criteria for medical staff
- General Surgery and ED experience a plus

Pay Range
$112,569 - $189,113 /year
